Piper: Busy, busy, busy! That’s what I have been! My girl’s xolair treatment that she got this week always makes her blood sugar extra volatile, which means all Piper’s on deck! This gives me a lot of opportunities to practice my alerts and for my girl and I to fine tune them. We have been working on alerts when my girl is in her wheelchair recently. I’m learning to find her hands in the new places they may be so that I can bump them for my alert and be comfortable doing so. We have made it into a fun game of find the hands! Opie: We’re back! We took the day off from posting yesterday because our girl was recovering from her xolair shot in Cleveland. This shot so far has gone much better than the previous two shots, but still gave my girl some cold/flu symptoms and headaches. Last night Piper and I were so excited to have our girl back and we spent the good majority of today napping and cuddling to make up for lost time! Piper and I also did a small photo shoot with our girl for @chronicallypersevering_instyle ! Since I started having seizures I have not enjoyed having my pictures taken as much so my girl has only included me when I wanted to be included, but today I was so excited and hammed it up for the camera! My girl is so excited to be getting little bits of me back again! It’s finally warming up here! My Rheumatologist has advised me to cover up or wear high spf sunscreen if I’m out in the sun. With my connective tissue disease it makes me sensitive to the sun and I can get rashes that are very painful 😣. But seeing Seb happy in the sun is worth all the effort to go out side ☺️.
