Remember those 6 green pears from last Saturday? They're still green and on my island! What's up with that? ! 😕 . . So this weekend the shopping went like this: Another honey dew melon (the last one was from heaven! So worth $3!), 10 lbs , 3 lbs oranges, 2 big bags of (I don't know if they were 3 or 5 lb bags), 5 (another perfect ripe, juicy fruit), 3 lbs of red grapes and 5 lbs of frozen blueberries (both not pictured ). Plus the pears that I hope will finally ripen. . . So do you struggle eating fruit? Here's a tip begin by eating your favorite fruit. Eat it everyday as part of your routine. Preferably in the morning or by itself as a snack. If you get gnawing pains in your stomach after you eat it or if you feel yourself getting low blood sugar levels, eat 2 or 3. One piece of fruit on an empty stomach is NOT a meal. It will not satisfy you. . You can eat one apple then have your oatmeal for breakfast. Or 2 apples for a snack a couple hours before dinner. . Chop a banana, apple or tangerine into your green salad. As you eat your fruit you're going to want more. It'll be easier to incorporate more fruit to your meals. But begin with one. One fruit a day. Non-negotiable! . That's how my husband began. He began with a banana. Now he drinks a smoothie or eats oatmeal with blueberries. Then he eats a banana, 2 apples and sometimes 2 more fruits: tangerines, cantaloupe, papaya etc. ismedicine . .

I can sit here and say that thyroid disease has fucked my body up and be super hard on myself. But I'm done doing that. I'm done self sabotaging and talking down to myself. 🙅🏻 Be your biggest fan and your biggest supporter. Cheer yourself on, lift yourself up🙌🏽. . . If you would have asked me a year ago if I was okay with being on the thicker side lol and having softer abs, I would've told you you are insane. Today I stand here caring so much less about what my appearance is on the outside, and caring more about what is going on inside💕. . . Caring more about what is going on internally means more sleep, more food, balanced exercise, more self love ❤️. I have been doing loads of research on how to heal the body from diseases. And I've realized how powerful fruit is for the body. All types of fruit are such powerful foods to heal the body. So this past week my diet has completely changed. Juicing/smoothies a few times a day with tons of fruit and vegetables, still eating protein, and less starchy carbs. So more sweet potatoes and butternut squash. And I feel absolutely amazing! Food is medicine for the body🙌🏽

When your watermelon juice is the bomb to the very last drop.? Yummy.. This was the second batch since the kids started eating & drinking the juice during pressing.
