I was super lucky and blessed and won @thefityogitrainer giveaway by @yogoskenz earlier in the week! Today I’m on day 2 of the guide. Today was four rounds of this which made for a 20 minute continuous workout. I set my @garmin watch to intervals, one minute on, ten seconds rest (basically just the transition and an extra breath). It was great because I set it for 20 of those and didn’t have to do any counting. Not gonna lie, going into this one I was a little worried about my diastasis recti 🙊 I’m still a little apprehensive about the affects of this workout on it but I made the decision to do it and I was careful and modified what I felt I needed to for my current body. My PT says I can carefully start getting back into doing core work as long as I’m not having any coning (and I kept checking) and that it doesn’t get worse (so I need to remeasure the gap in a week or so) 🤞 Its always a little nerve wracking getting back into a fitness routine after an injury. Also, this is the first time I’ve done burpees in 3 years and use to be a total crossfit BEAST. But really- I was the definition of hard core, like maybe a little too intense. And I’m totally feeling this handclap song for burpees since a proper crossfit burpee you have to clap your hands overhead 👏 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #postpartumfitness

The absolute best part about this week was getting home on Monday and J gluing himself to me with the biggest hug and a sweet ‘mama, mamaaa!’ in my ear. A few hours later we were in full on meltdown mode as I tried to wrestle my shrieking two-nager into his car seat. Taking this stage of life one meltdown at a time while I fiercely and imperfectly love a human to no end. This is me. Trying HARD to live like I’m loved even when I feel inadequate to the core (because , am I right?) back after a week away and settling back into this little life I get to call mine and the routine I so thrive off of. (Creature of habit right here 🙋🏽‍♀️) I love adventuring, and exploring, and experiencing - and I love being a mom even more. This little man is my greatest adventure. so thankful.

So much excitement!! The space is transforming and my favorite part is my kids have been such a part of the process and they are just as excited as their mama for what is next, new, and upcoming!! My daughter keeps asking for a desk and a key and my boys constantly ask to go to work at the new space ❤️A new home for my manufacturing mamas, a new extension brand and best of all a new boutique studio and retail space! Let the journey begin! ✨and yes those lights will be the next thing to go!! 😂

SEXY SHOULDER WORKOUT⠀ •⠀ •⠀ 🔹As requested, here is my full shoulder workout from yesterday.⠀ •⠀ 🔹480 reps that smoked my delts⠀ •⠀ •⠀ 🔹6x15 Superset⠀ -Dumbbell Shoulder Press⠀ -Rear Delt Band Pulls⠀ ⠀ 🔹4x15 Circuit⠀ -Overhead Barbell Press (1st video)⠀ -Arnold Plate Press (2nd video)⠀ -Lateral Plate Raise⠀ -Neutral Front Plate Raise (3rd video)⠀ -Dumbbell Shrugs (4th video)⠀ •⠀ 🔹This took me 45 minutes. Practicing self love. Not only in the act of exercising but also in using kind words to remind myself I am five months postpartum, this run was hot and windy, and I was pushing a double stroller with nearly 50 pounds of kids in it. #postpartumfitness

Have you tried this 5 minworkout Live with me? . You don’t have to be a mom to do this, Maui was my weight and motivation. . If you saw it Live you would scene Maui copied a move. She did the downward dog pose, when she saw me do the dolphin pushups. It made me soo happy. It’s my dream for Maui copy catting me. I never thought at 10 months she would be doing it.. thought I had 2 more years. . It’s true you are their idols. At a young age they are already studying every move you make & your energy around others. . As I’ve been preaching this forever. Be the Version you want your kid to be. . Don’t wait to change your habits later, because it will be hard to reverse their bad habits. . Btw listen to her laughters .. Workout was a 5 min AMRAP - 6 combo 3 lunge pulse knee raise pivot - 7 squat raise - 8 hip lifts - 9 burpee - 10 dolphin pushups - repeat . Disclaimer: baby optional. . Half way through round ✌🏼 of @fitnesscarli meal plan. I have lost a total of 19.5 pounds on her plan that I started back in January. I also am on week 9 of @kayla_itsines BBG. If you swipe there is a before picture of me almost 5 years ago, at age 24, at my bachelorette party. I went on weight watchers to try and loose weight before my wedding, and let’s just say it was not successful. Although I still have a long way to go and my fitness journey has just started, the picture on the left is me today, at almost 29 years old, & 7.5 months postpartum. I have a 19 month old, and a 7 month old, which left me with diastasis recti from having both babies be transverse, and both needing c-sections. That left me with the mom pooch, and had me feeling so disgusted, saddened, and frustrated with my how my body looked. I gained 55 lbs during both pregnancies, and Carli’s plan is/has been the ONLY thing that has ever been successful for me, and helped me get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I cringe looking back and thinking how MUCH food I would eat (no portion control) and wondered why despite working out 7 days a week- did I still have love handles, no muscle, and the numbers on the scale didn’t budge. Her plan works, so many other people have amazing before and after transformations, and I cannot recommend it enough. (Healthy eating also helped majorly with my PPD & PPA. It has helped balance my hormones, made my cycles less painful, made me not crave sugar 24/7, cleared my skin, given me more energy, and made me a happier wife & mom.)
