πŸ“Œ Update: Thank you to all of Albert's and @goyanggy fans for your overwhelming support, we really appreciate it and it helped a lot to know we weren't alone in this. We are all okay and have found a temporary place to stay. It wasn't worth staying to fight them over this because we could tell if they would stoop so low to use two innocent cats to evict us they would just find some other thing in the lease to kick us out for. We also don't have the time or energy to open another lawsuit especially when they have their corporate attorneys and deep pockets to get them out of it again. We also wanted to address some things people seemed confused about: 1) The apartment community we lived in was a "pet friendly community" and all of our neighbors had dogs that included large German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Shiba Inus, and cats, etc. It's not clear how Albert and Goyanggy are "capable of causing damage to a persons or property" when all of those other dogs and cats are not? 2) We posted our story because we know a lot of you guys might be looking to rent from Greystar or already are and wanted to warn you so you are aware what they will do if you try to hold them accountable. We do not encourage any malicious comments towards them. Companies and their regional managers do these kind of things because they know people won't really find out about it, which is also why they deleted all the comments (malicious or not) on their page. 3) People should definitely be allowed to smoke weed in their residences, especially if they might be doing it for medical reasons but we definitely shouldn't be forced to smoke it along with them in our residence every single day morning/night where everyone had to sign a 1.5 page No Smoking agreement in their lease.

❗️ALBERT AND @GOYANGGY WERE KICKED OUT FROM THEIR HOME TODAY BY @Trisha.Lobdell the @GreystarApartments REGIONAL MANAGER. WARNING: Please be VERY careful if you are renting or are thinking of renting from Greystar. They are an apartment management corporate giant. Greystar manages over 1,600 apartment communities and they will use their corporate attorneys and deep pockets to silence you if you try to hold them accountable for their negligence. As they did with us, they will even go after your innocent pets to do it. 😒 BOTH ALBERT AND GOYANGGY are emotional assistance pets but won't even spare service animals when trying to cover their own behind. We moved into the apartment in July 2017 after signing Greystar's standard lease agreement that had a strict 1 1/2 page No Smoking policy that they didn't care at all to enforce no matter how may verbal and email complaints we made. All either went unanswered or a "We'll look into it" with nothing whatsoever done. From the very first day upon move-in the resident in the apartment below us on the 2nd floor smoked marijuana heavily at all hours of the day and night, constantly keeping us up until 3am every night to the point where we were almost vomiting from the amount of smoke. My husband and I are professional athletes training to qualify for the 2020 Olympics in badminton and have lost so much time, training, money, and sleep due to this. When I asked one of the leasing agents to go check the 2nd floor apartment to catch the resident in the act because it was occurring at that exact moment he said to my face "Sorry, I can't help you", exited the leasing office, locked the door behind him, and left the building. @Trisha.Lobdell told us to call the police (where they laughed at us and told us weed is legal in Oregon and that they don't enforce private property lease agreements). She also told us to call the "after-hours Greystar hotline" which turned out was just an answering service that only took messages down? (Cont. in next post)
